箴言 10:18
Whoever conceals hatred with lying lips and spreads slander is a fool.
隱藏怨恨的，有說謊的嘴；口出讒謗的，是愚妄的人。

詩篇 109:3
With words of hatred they surround me; they attack me without cause.

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.
弟兄們，那些離間你們、叫你們跌倒、背乎所學之道的人，我勸你們要留意躲避他們。
因為這樣的人不服事我們的主基督，只服事自己的肚腹，用花言巧語誘惑那些老實人的心。
雅各書 4:11

There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you-who are you to judge your neighbor?

設立律法和判斷人的，只有一位，就是那能救人也能滅人的。你是誰，竟敢論斷別人呢？
詩篇 101:5
Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret, I will put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, I will not tolerate.
在暗中讒謗他鄰居的，我必將他滅絕；眼目高傲、心裡驕縱的，我必不容他。
馬太福音 7:1

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
「你們不要論斷人，免得你們被論斷。
因為你們怎樣論斷人，也必怎樣被論斷；你們用什麼量器量給人，也必用什麼量器量給你們。
為什麼看見你弟兄眼中有刺，卻不想自己眼中有梁木呢？
你自己眼中有梁木，怎能對你弟兄說：『容我去掉你眼中的刺』呢？
你這假冒為善的人！先去掉自己眼中的梁木，然後才能看得清楚，去掉你弟兄眼中的刺。
約伯記 5:21
You will be protected from the lash of the tongue, and need not fear when destruction comes.
你必被隱藏，不受口舌之害；災殃臨到，你也不懼怕。
詩篇 39:1
I said, "I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth while in the presence of the wicked."

Like a north wind that brings unexpected rain is a sly tongue-which provokes a horrified look.

提摩太後書 3:1

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-
having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
你該知道，末世必有危險的日子來到。
因為那時人要專顧自己、貪愛錢財、自誇、狂傲、謗讟、違背父母、忘恩負義、心不聖潔、
無親情、不解怨、好說讒言、不能自約、性情兇暴、不愛良善、
賣主賣友、任意妄為、自高自大、愛宴樂、不愛神，
有敬虔的外貌，卻背了敬虔的實意；這等人你要躲開。
雅各書 1:19

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,
because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
我親愛的弟兄們，這是你們所知道的，但你們各人要快快的聽，慢慢的說，慢慢的動怒，
因為人的怒氣並不成就神的義。

but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
惟獨舌頭沒有人能制伏，是不止息的惡物，滿了害死人的毒氣。

and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
情慾的事都是顯而易見的，就如姦淫、污穢、邪蕩、
拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、分爭、異端、
嫉妒（有古卷加：兇殺二字）、醉酒、荒宴等類。我從前告訴你們，現在又告訴你們，行這樣事的人必不能承受神的國。
雅各書 3:6
The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
舌頭就是火，在我們百體中，舌頭是個罪惡的世界，能污穢全身，也能把生命的輪子點起來，並且是從地獄裡點著的。
啟示錄 21:8
But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
惟有膽怯的、不信的、可憎的、殺人的、淫亂的、行邪術的、拜偶像的，和一切說謊話的，他們的分就在燒著硫磺的火湖裡；這是第二次的死。」

A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid anyone who talks too much.
