哥林多後書 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
將各樣的計謀,各樣攔阻人認識神的那些自高之事,一概攻破了,又將人所有的心意奪回,使他都順服基督。
羅馬書 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
不要效法這個世界,只要心意更新而變化,叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。
哥林多後書 10:3 - 5 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 因為我們雖然在血氣中行事,卻不憑著血氣爭戰。 我們爭戰的兵器本不是屬血氣的,乃是在神面前有能力,可以攻破堅固的營壘, 將各樣的計謀,各樣攔阻人認識神的那些自高之事,一概攻破了,又將人所有的心意奪回,使他都順服基督。
雅各書 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
故此你們要順服神。務要抵擋魔鬼,魔鬼就必離開你們逃跑了。

希伯來書 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
你們存心不可貪愛錢財,要以自己所有的為足;因為主曾說:『我總不撇下你,也不丟棄你。』

路加福音 4:1 - 13 Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry. The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread." Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone.' " The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. If you worship me, it will all be yours." Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.' " The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down from here. For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' " Jesus answered, "It is said: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' " When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time.
耶穌被聖靈充滿,從約但河回來,聖靈將他引到曠野, 四十天受魔鬼的試探。那些日子沒有吃什麼;日子滿了,他就餓了。 魔鬼對他說:「你若是神的兒子,可以吩咐這塊石頭變成食物。」 耶穌回答說:「經上記著說:『人活著不是單靠食物,乃是靠神口裡所出的一切話。』」 魔鬼又領他上了高山,霎時間把天下的萬國都指給他看, 對他說:「這一切權柄、榮華,我都要給你,因為這原是交付我的,我願意給誰就給誰。 你若在我面前下拜,這都要歸你。」 耶穌說:「經上記著說:當拜主你的神,單要事奉他。」 魔鬼又領他到耶路撒冷去,叫他站在殿頂(頂:原文作翅)上,對他說:「你若是神的兒子,可以從這裡跳下去; 因為經上記著說:主要為你吩咐他的使者保護你; 他們要用手托著你,免得你的腳碰在石頭上。」 耶穌對他說:「經上說:『不可試探主你的神。』」 魔鬼用完了各樣的試探,就暫時離開耶穌。
箴言 20:27 The human spirit is the lamp of the Lord that sheds light on one's inmost being.
人的靈是耶和華的燈,鑒察人的心腹。

提摩太後書 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
因為神賜給我們,不是膽怯的心,乃是剛強、仁愛、謹守的心。
