出埃及記 23:8 "Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the innocent.
不可受賄賂;因為賄賂能叫明眼人變瞎了,又能顛倒義人的話。
箴言 15:27 The greedy bring ruin to their households, but the one who hates bribes will live.

你的官長居心悖逆,與盜賊作伴,各都喜愛賄賂,追求贓私。他們不為孤兒伸冤;寡婦的案件也不得呈到他們面前。
阿摩司書 5:12 For I know how many are your offenses and how great your sins. There are those who oppress the innocent and take bribes and deprive the poor of justice in the courts.
我知道你們的罪過何等多,你們的罪惡何等大。你們苦待義人,收受賄賂,在城門口屈枉窮乏人。
箴言 10:2 Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death.

馬太福音 28:12 - 15 When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, telling them, "You are to say, 'His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.' If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble." So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.
祭司長和長老聚集商議,就拿許多銀錢給兵丁,說: 「你們要這樣說:『夜間我們睡覺的時候,他的門徒來,把他偷去了。』 倘若這話被巡撫聽見,有我們勸他,保你們無事。」 兵丁受了銀錢,就照所囑咐他們的去行。這話就傳說在猶太人中間,直到今日。
希伯來書 13:5 - 6 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?"
你們存心不可貪愛錢財,要以自己所有的為足;因為主曾說:『我總不撇下你,也不丟棄你。』 所以我們可以放膽說:主是幫助我的,我必不懼怕;人能把我怎麼樣呢?
雅各書 3:16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
在何處有嫉妒、分爭,就在何處有擾亂和各樣的壞事。

不可屈枉正直;不可看人的外貌。也不可受賄賂;因為賄賂能叫智慧人的眼變瞎了,又能顛倒義人的話。
撒母耳記上 8:3 But his sons did not follow his ways. They turned aside after dishonest gain and accepted bribes and perverted justice.
他兒子不行他的道,貪圖財利,收受賄賂,屈枉正直。

貪財是萬惡之根。有人貪戀錢財,就被引誘離了真道,用許多愁苦把自己刺透了。
雅各書 2:7 Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?
他們不是褻瀆你們所敬奉(所敬奉:或作被稱)的尊名嗎?
士師記 16:5 The rulers of the Philistines went to her and said, "See if you can lure him into showing you the secret of his great strength and how we can overpower him so we may tie him up and subdue him. Each one of us will give you eleven hundred shekels of silver."
非利士人的首領上去見那婦人,對他說:「求你誆哄參孫,探探他因何有這麼大的力氣,我們用何法能勝他,捆綁剋制他。我們就每人給你一千一百舍客勒銀子。」
列王記上 15:19 "Let there be a treaty between me and you," he said, "as there was between my father and your father. See, I am sending you a gift of silver and gold. Now break your treaty with Baasha king of Israel so he will withdraw from me."
說:「你父曾與我父立約,我與你也要立約。現在我將金銀送你為禮物,求你廢掉你與以色列王巴沙所立的約,使他離開我。」
