以弗所書 6:4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

趁有指望,管教你的兒子;你的心不可任他死亡。

凡事都不可虧欠人,惟有彼此相愛要常以為虧欠;因為愛人的,就完全了律法。 像那不可姦淫,不可殺人,不可偷盜,不可貪婪,或有別的誡命,都包在愛人如己這一句話之內了。 愛是不加害與人的,所以愛就完全了律法。

當遠離虛假的事。不可殺無辜和有義的人,因我必不以惡人為義。
箴言 23:13 - 14 Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish them with the rod, they will not die. Punish them with the rod and save them from death. Saying 14
不可不管教孩童;你用杖打他,他必不至於死。 你要用杖打他,就可以救他的靈魂免下陰間。
箴言 29:15 A rod and a reprimand impart wisdom, but a child left undisciplined disgraces its mother.
杖打和責備能加增智慧;放縱的兒子使母親羞愧。

我未將你造在腹中,我已曉得你;你未出母胎,我已分別你為聖;我已派你作列國的先知。
路加福音 12:42 - 46 The Lord answered, "Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose the servant says to himself, 'My master is taking a long time in coming,' and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
主說:「誰是那忠心有見識的管家,主人派他管理家裡的人,按時分糧給他們呢? 主人來到,看見僕人這樣行,那僕人就有福了。 我實在告訴你們,主人要派他管理一切所有的。 那僕人若心裡說:『我的主人必來得遲』,就動手打僕人和使女,並且吃喝醉酒; 在他想不到的日子,不知道的時辰,那僕人的主人要來,重重的處治他(或作:把他腰軋了),定他和不忠心的人同罪。
路加福音 17:2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
就是把磨石拴在這人的頸項上,丟在海裡,還強如他把這小子裡的一個絆倒了。
約翰福音 8:16 - 18 But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true. I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me."
