歌羅西書 3:20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
你們作兒女的,要凡事聽從父母,因為這是主所喜悅的。

"Honor your father and mother"-which is the first commandment with a promise- "so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." 不可嚴責老年人,只要勸他如同父親;勸少年人如同弟兄; 勸老年婦女如同母親;勸少年婦女如同姐妹;總要清清潔潔的。 要尊敬那真為寡婦的。 若寡婦有兒女,或有孫子孫女,便叫他們先在自己家中學著行孝,報答親恩,因為這在神面前是可悅納的。
箴言 22:6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

申命記 21:18 - 21 If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard." Then all the men of his town are to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.
「人若有頑梗悖逆的兒子,不聽從父母的話,他們雖懲治他,他仍不聽從, 父母就要抓住他,將他帶到本地的城門、本城的長老那裡, 對長老說:『我們這兒子頑梗悖逆,不聽從我們的話,是貪食好酒的人。』 本城的眾人就要用石頭將他打死。這樣,就把那惡從你們中間除掉,以色列眾人都要聽見害怕。」
詩篇 19:8 The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
耶和華的訓詞正直,能快活人的心;耶和華的命令清潔,能明亮人的眼目。
箴言 23:13 - 14 Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish them with the rod, they will not die. Punish them with the rod and save them from death. Saying 14

應當一無掛慮,只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求,和感謝,將你們所要的告訴神。 神所賜、出人意外的平安必在基督耶穌裡保守你們的心懷意念。 弟兄們,我還有未盡的話:凡是真實的、可敬的、公義的、清潔的、可愛的、有美名的,若有什麼德行,若有什麼稱讚,這些事你們都要思念。
