箴言 18:10 The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

以賽亞書 26:3 - 4 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.

I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies. The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. (耶和華的僕人大衛的詩,交與伶長。當耶和華救他脫離一切仇敵和掃羅之手的日子,他向耶和華念這詩的話。說:)耶和華,我的力量啊,我愛你! 耶和華是我的巖石,我的山寨,我的救主,我的神,我的磐石,我所投靠的。他是我的盾牌,是拯救我的角,是我的高臺。 我要求告當讚美的耶和華;這樣我必從仇敵手中被救出來。 曾有死亡的繩索纏繞我,匪類的急流使我驚懼, 陰間的繩索纏繞我,死亡的網羅臨到我。 我在急難中求告耶和華,向我的神呼求。他從殿中聽了我的聲音;我在他面前的呼求入了他的耳中。
猶大書 1:24 - 25 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy- to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
那能保守你們不失腳、叫你們無瑕無疵、歡歡喜喜站在他榮耀之前的我們的救主獨一的神, 願榮耀、威嚴、能力、權柄,因我們的主耶穌基督歸與他,從萬古以前並現今,直到永永遠遠。阿們。
詩篇 23:1 - 6 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

箴言 25:26 Like a muddied spring or a polluted well are the righteous who give way to the wicked.
義人在惡人面前退縮,好像逿渾之泉,弄濁之井。
馬太福音 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
「你們不要想我來是叫地上太平;我來並不是叫地上太平,乃是叫地上動刀兵。
馬太福音 26:52 - 54 "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
耶穌對他說:「收刀入鞘吧!凡動刀的,必死在刀下。 你想,我不能求我父現在為我差遣十二營多天使來嗎? 若是這樣,經上所說,事情必須如此的話怎麼應驗呢?」
提摩太前書 5:8 Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
人若不看顧親屬,就是背了真道,比不信的人還不好,不看顧自己家裡的人,更是如此。
創世記 9:5 - 6 And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being. "Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.

詩篇 25:20 Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.

詩篇 121:1 - 8 I lift up my eyes to the mountains- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you- the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
(上行之詩。)我要向山舉目;我的幫助從何而來? 我的幫助從造天地的耶和華而來。 他必不叫你的腳搖動;保護你的必不打盹! 保護以色列的,也不打盹也不睡覺。 保護你的是耶和華;耶和華在你右邊蔭庇你。 白日,太陽必不傷你;夜間,月亮必不害你。 耶和華要保護你,免受一切的災害;他要保護你的性命。 你出你入,耶和華要保護你,從今時直到永遠。
以賽亞書 40:28 - 31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
你豈不曾知道嗎?你豈不曾聽見嗎?永在的神耶和華,創造地極的主,並不疲乏,也不困倦;他的智慧無法測度。 疲乏的,他賜能力;軟弱的,他加力量。 就是少年人也要疲乏困倦;強壯的也必全然跌倒。 但那等候耶和華的必從新得力。他們必如鷹展翅上騰;他們奔跑卻不困倦,行走卻不疲乏。
但以理書 12:1 "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people-everyone whose name is found written in the book-will be delivered.
「那時,保佑你本國之民的天使長(原文作大君)米迦勒必站起來,並且有大艱難,從有國以來直到此時,沒有這樣的。你本國的民中,凡名錄在冊上的,必得拯救。
約翰福音 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
但保惠師,就是父因我的名所要差來的聖靈,他要將一切的事指教你們,並且要叫你們想起我對你們所說的一切話。
羅馬書 13:4 For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
因為他是神的用人,是與你有益的。你若作惡,卻當懼怕;因為他不是空空的佩劍,他是神的用人,是伸冤的,刑罰那作惡的。

士師記 5:8 God chose new leaders when war came to the city gates, but not a shield or spear was seen among forty thousand in Israel.
以色列人選擇新神,爭戰的事就臨到城門。那時,以色列四萬人中豈能見盾牌槍矛呢?

尼希米記 4:17 - 18 who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other, and each of the builders wore his sword at his side as he worked. But the man who sounded the trumpet stayed with me.
修造城牆的,扛抬材料的,都一手做工一手拿兵器。 修造的人都腰間佩刀修造,吹角的人在我旁邊。
詩篇 1:1 - 6 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither- whatever they do prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
不從惡人的計謀,不站罪人的道路,不坐褻慢人的座位, 惟喜愛耶和華的律法,晝夜思想,這人便為有福! 他要像一棵樹栽在溪水旁,按時候結果子,葉子也不枯乾。凡他所做的盡都順利。 惡人並不是這樣,乃像糠秕被風吹散。 因此,當審判的時候惡人必站立不住;罪人在義人的會中也是如此。 因為耶和華知道義人的道路;惡人的道路卻必滅亡。
詩篇 61:1 - 4 Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.
(大衛的詩,交與伶長。用絲弦的樂器。)神啊,求你聽我的呼求,側耳聽我的禱告! 我心裡發昏的時候,我要從地極求告你。求你領我到那比我更高的磐石! 因為你作過我的避難所,作過我的堅固臺,脫離仇敵。 我要永遠住在你的帳幕裡!我要投靠在你翅膀下的隱密處!(細拉)
詩篇 91:10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
禍患必不臨到你,災害也不挨近你的帳棚。
路加福音 4:10 For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully;
因為經上記著說:主要為你吩咐他的使者保護你;
彼得前書 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
惟有你們是被揀選的族類,是有君尊的祭司,是聖潔的國度,是屬神的子民,要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。
出埃及記 23:20 "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.
