創世記 3:19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."
你必汗流滿面才得糊口,直到你歸了土,因為你是從土而出的。你本是塵土,仍要歸於塵土。
詩篇 103:13 - 14 As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.
父親怎樣憐恤他的兒女,耶和華也怎樣憐恤敬畏他的人! 因為他知道我們的本體,思念我們不過是塵土。
傳道書 12:7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
塵土仍歸於地,靈仍歸於賜靈的神。
創世記 2:7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

詩篇 139:13 - 16 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

他們又把塵土撒在頭上,哭泣悲哀,喊著說:哀哉!哀哉!這大城啊。凡有船在海中的,都因他的珍寶成了富足!他在一時之間就成了荒場!
約伯記 7:21 Why do you not pardon my offenses and forgive my sins? For I will soon lie down in the dust; you will search for me, but I will be no more."
為何不赦免我的過犯,除掉我的罪孽?我現今要躺臥在塵土中;你要殷勤地尋找我,我卻不在了。
約伯記 30:19 He throws me into the mud, and I am reduced to dust and ashes.
神把我扔在淤泥中,我就像塵土和爐灰一般。
詩篇 83:13 Make them like tumbleweed, my God, like chaff before the wind.
