創世記 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
神說:「我們要照著我們的形像、按著我們的樣式造人,使他們管理海裡的魚、空中的鳥、地上的牲畜,和全地,並地上所爬的一切昆蟲。」
創世記 1:29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
神說:「看哪,我將遍地上一切結種子的菜蔬和一切樹上所結有核的果子全賜給你們作食物。
民數記 35:33 " 'Do not pollute the land where you are. Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it.
這樣,你們就不污穢所住之地,因為血是污穢地的;若有在地上流人血的,非流那殺人者的血,那地就不得潔淨(原文作贖)。
詩篇 24:1 The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;
(大衛的詩。)地和其中所充滿的,世界和住在其間的,都屬耶和華。
箴言 12:10 The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.
義人顧惜他牲畜的命;惡人的憐憫也是殘忍。
出埃及記 23:10 - 11 "For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops, but during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused. Then the poor among your people may get food from it, and the wild animals may eat what is left. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.
「六年你要耕種田地,收藏土產, 只是第七年要叫地歇息,不耕不種,使你民中的窮人有吃的;他們所剩下的,野獸可以吃。你的葡萄園和橄欖園也要照樣辦理。
申命記 22:6 - 7 If you come across a bird's nest beside the road, either in a tree or on the ground, and the mother is sitting on the young or on the eggs, do not take the mother with the young. You may take the young, but be sure to let the mother go, so that it may go well with you and you may have a long life.
「你若路上遇見鳥窩,或在樹上或在地上,裡頭有雛或有蛋,母鳥伏在雛上或在蛋上,你不可連母帶雛一併取去。 總要放母,只可取雛;這樣你就可以享福,日子得以長久。
詩篇 23:1 - 6 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
(大衛的詩。)耶和華是我的牧者,我必不至缺乏。 他使我躺臥在青草地上,領我在可安歇的水邊。 他使我的靈魂甦醒,為自己的名引導我走義路。 我雖然行過死蔭的幽谷,也不怕遭害,因為你與我同在;你的杖,你的竿,都安慰我。 在我敵人面前,你為我擺設筵席;你用油膏了我的頭,使我的福杯滿溢。 我一生一世必有恩惠慈愛隨著我;我且要住在耶和華的殿中,直到永遠。
詩篇 104:15 wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts.
又得酒能悅人心,得油能潤人面,得糧能養人心。
馬太福音 23:27 - 29 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous.
「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了!因為你們好像粉飾的墳墓,外面好看,裡面卻裝滿了死人的骨頭和一切的污穢。 你們也是如此,在人前,外面顯出公義來,裡面卻裝滿了假善和不法的事。 「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了!因為你們建造先知的墳,修飾義人的墓,說:
