No priest is to drink wine when he enters the inner court.

Those who linger over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed wine.
Do not gaze at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly!
誰有禍患？誰有憂愁？誰有爭鬥？誰有哀嘆（或作：怨言）？誰無故受傷？誰眼目紅赤？
就是那流連飲酒、常去尋找調和酒的人。
酒發紅，在杯中閃爍，你不可觀看，雖然下咽舒暢，終久是咬你如蛇，刺你如毒蛇。
哈巴谷書 2:5
indeed, wine betrays him; he is arrogant and never at rest. Because he is as greedy as the grave and like death is never satisfied, he gathers to himself all the nations and takes captive all the peoples.
迦勒底人因酒詭詐，狂傲，不住在家中，擴充心欲，好像陰間。他如死不能知足，聚集萬國，堆積萬民都歸自己。

又拿起餅來，祝謝了，就擘開，遞給他們，說：「這是我的身體，為你們捨的，你們也應當如此行，為的是記念我。」
飯後也照樣拿起杯來，說：「這杯是用我血所立的新約，是為你們流出來的。

Let beer be for those who are perishing, wine for those who are in anguish!
Let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more.
利慕伊勒啊，君王喝酒，君王喝酒不相宜；王子說濃酒在那裡也不相宜；
恐怕喝了就忘記律例，顛倒一切困苦人的是非。
可以把濃酒給將亡的人喝，把清酒給苦心的人喝，
讓他喝了，就忘記他的貧窮，不再記念他的苦楚。
以賽亞書 28:1
Woe to that wreath, the pride of Ephraim's drunkards, to the fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley- to that city, the pride of those laid low by wine!
禍哉！以法蓮的酒徒，住在肥美谷的山上，他們心裡高傲，以所誇的為冠冕，猶如將殘之花。
耶利米書 13:12
"Say to them: 'This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Every wineskin should be filled with wine.' And if they say to you, 'Don't we know that every wineskin should be filled with wine?'

何西阿書 7:14

He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate- bringing forth food from the earth:
wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts.
他使草生長，給六畜吃，使菜蔬發長，供給人用，使人從地裡能得食物，
又得酒能悅人心，得油能潤人面，得糧能養人心。
雅歌 8:2
I would lead you and bring you to my mother's house- she who has taught me. I would give you spiced wine to drink, the nectar of my pomegranates.

也沒有人把新酒裝在舊皮袋裡；若是這樣，新酒必將皮袋裂開，酒便漏出來，皮袋也就壞了。
但新酒必須裝在新皮袋裡。

管筵席的嘗了那水變的酒，並不知道是那裡來的，只有舀水的用人知道。管筵席的便叫新郎來，
對他說：「人都是先擺上好酒，等客喝足了，才擺上次的，你倒把好酒留到如今！」
民數記 6:2

"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'If a man or woman wants to make a special vow, a vow of dedication to the Lord as a Nazirite,
they must abstain from wine and other fermented drink and must not drink vinegar made from wine or other fermented drink. They must not drink grape juice or eat grapes or raisins.
「你曉諭以色列人說：無論男女許了特別的願，就是拿細耳人的願（拿細耳就是歸主的意思；下同），要離俗歸耶和華。
他就要遠離清酒濃酒，也不可喝什麼清酒濃酒做的醋；不可喝什麼葡萄汁，也不可吃鮮葡萄和乾葡萄。
申命記 33:28
So Israel will live in safety; Jacob will dwell secure in a land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew.

"Go to the Rekabite family and invite them to come to one of the side rooms of the house of the Lord and give them wine to drink."
So I went to get Jaazaniah son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, and his brothers and all his sons-the whole family of the Rekabites.
I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the room of the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah the man of God. It was next to the room of the officials, which was over that of Maaseiah son of Shallum the doorkeeper.
Then I set bowls full of wine and some cups before the Rekabites and said to them, "Drink some wine."
But they replied, "We do not drink wine, because our forefather Jehonadab son of Rekab gave us this command: 'Neither you nor your descendants must ever drink wine.
Also you must never build houses, sow seed or plant vineyards; you must never have any of these things, but must always live in tents. Then you will live a long time in the land where you are nomads.'
We have obeyed everything our forefather Jehonadab son of Rekab commanded us. Neither we nor our wives nor our sons and daughters have ever drunk wine
or built houses to live in or had vineyards, fields or crops.
We have lived in tents and have fully obeyed everything our forefather Jehonadab commanded us.
「你去見利甲族的人，和他們說話，領他們進入耶和華殿的一間屋子，給他們酒喝。」
我就將哈巴洗尼雅的孫子雅利米雅的兒子雅撒尼亞和他弟兄，並他眾子，以及利甲全族的人，
領到耶和華的殿，進入神人伊基大利的兒子哈難眾子的屋子。那屋子在首領的屋子旁邊，在沙龍之子把門的瑪西雅屋子以上。
於是我在利甲族人面前設擺盛滿酒的碗和杯，對他們說：「請你們喝酒。」
他們卻說：「我們不喝酒；因為我們先祖利甲的兒子約拿達曾吩咐我們說：『你們與你們的子孫永不可喝酒，
也不可蓋房、撒種、栽種葡萄園，但一生的年日要住帳棚，使你們的日子在寄居之地得以延長。』
凡我們先祖利甲的兒子約拿達所吩咐我們的話，我們都聽從了。我們和我們的妻子兒女一生的年日都不喝酒，
也不蓋房居住，也沒有葡萄園、田地，和種子，
但住帳棚，聽從我們先祖約拿達的話，照他所吩咐我們的去行。
