啟示錄 21:4 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

馬太福音 11:28 - 30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west.

約翰福音 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, and my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall. But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
(大衛的詩,交與伶長。)耶和華啊,你忘記我要到幾時呢?要到永遠嗎?你掩面不顧我要到幾時呢? 我心裡籌算,終日愁苦,要到幾時呢?我的仇敵升高壓制我,要到幾時呢? 耶和華我的神啊,求你看顧我,應允我!使我眼目光明,免得我沉睡至死; 免得我的仇敵說:我勝了他;免得我的敵人在我搖動的時候喜樂。 但我倚靠你的慈愛;我的心因你的救恩快樂。
哥林多後書 1:3 - 12 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many. Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God's grace.
願頌讚歸與我們的主耶穌基督的父神,就是發慈悲的父,賜各樣安慰的神。 我們在一切患難中,他就安慰我們,叫我們能用神所賜的安慰去安慰那遭各樣患難的人。 我們既多受基督的苦楚,就靠基督多得安慰。 我們受患難呢,是為叫你們得安慰,得拯救;我們得安慰呢,也是為叫你們得安慰;這安慰能叫你們忍受我們所受的那樣苦楚。 我們為你們所存的盼望是確定的,因為知道你們既是同受苦楚,也必同得安慰。 弟兄們,我們不要你們不曉得,我們從前在亞西亞遭遇苦難,被壓太重,力不能勝,甚至連活命的指望都絕了; 自己心裡也斷定是必死的,叫我們不靠自己,只靠叫死人復活的神。 他曾救我們脫離那極大的死亡,現在仍要救我們,並且我們指望他將來還要救我們。 你們以祈禱幫助我們,好叫許多人為我們謝恩,就是為我們因許多人所得的恩。 我們所誇的是自己的良心,見證我們憑著神的聖潔和誠實;在世為人不靠人的聰明,乃靠神的恩惠,向你們更是這樣。
詩篇 139:7 - 12 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.
我往那裡去躲避你的靈?我往那裡逃、躲避你的面? 我若升到天上,你在那裡;我若在陰間下榻,你也在那裡。 我若展開清晨的翅膀,飛到海極居住, 就是在那裡,你的手必引導我;你的右手也必扶持我。 我若說:黑暗必定遮蔽我,我周圍的亮光必成為黑夜; 黑暗也不能遮蔽我,使你不見,黑夜卻如白晝發亮。黑暗和光明,在你看都是一樣。
傳道書 7:1 - 2 A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth. It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of everyone; the living should take this to heart.
名譽強如美好的膏油;人死的日子勝過人生的日子。 往遭喪的家去,強如往宴樂的家去;因為死是眾人的結局,活人也必將這事放在心上。

腓立比書 4:6 - 8 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.
應當一無掛慮,只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求,和感謝,將你們所要的告訴神。 神所賜、出人意外的平安必在基督耶穌裡保守你們的心懷意念。 弟兄們,我還有未盡的話:凡是真實的、可敬的、公義的、清潔的、可愛的、有美名的,若有什麼德行,若有什麼稱讚,這些事你們都要思念。
詩篇 30:5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
因為,他的怒氣不過是轉眼之間;他的恩典乃是一生之久。一宿雖然有哭泣,早晨便必歡呼。
詩篇 77:3 I remembered you, God, and I groaned; I meditated, and my spirit grew faint.

以賽亞書 53:1 - 12 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied53:11Or (with Masoretic Text) 11He will see the fruit of his suffering / and will be satisfied ; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
我們所傳的(或作:所傳與我們的)有誰信呢?耶和華的膀臂向誰顯露呢? 他在耶和華面前生長如嫩芽,像根出於乾地。他無佳形美容;我們看見他的時候,也無美貌使我們羨慕他。 他被藐視,被人厭棄;多受痛苦,常經憂患。他被藐視,好像被人掩面不看的一樣;我們也不尊重他。 他誠然擔當我們的憂患,背負我們的痛苦;我們卻以為他受責罰,被神擊打苦待了。 哪知他為我們的過犯受害,為我們的罪孽壓傷。因他受的刑罰,我們得平安;因他受的鞭傷,我們得醫治。 我們都如羊走迷;各人偏行己路;耶和華使我們眾人的罪孽都歸在他身上。 他被欺壓,在受苦的時候卻不開口(或作:他受欺壓,卻自卑不開口);他像羊羔被牽到宰殺之地,又像羊在剪毛的人手下無聲,他也是這樣不開口。 因受欺壓和審判,他被奪去,至於他同世的人,誰想他受鞭打、從活人之地被剪除,是因我百姓的罪過呢? 他雖然未行強暴,口中也沒有詭詐,人還使他與惡人同埋;誰知死的時候與財主同葬。 耶和華卻定意(或作:喜悅)將他壓傷,使他受痛苦。耶和華以他為贖罪祭(或作:他獻本身為贖罪祭)。他必看見後裔,並且延長年日。耶和華所喜悅的事必在他手中亨通。 他必看見自己勞苦的功效,便心滿意足。有許多人因認識我的義僕得稱為義;並且他要擔當他們的罪孽。 所以,我要使他與位大的同分,與強盛的均分擄物。因為他將命傾倒,以致於死;他也被列在罪犯之中。他卻擔當多人的罪,又為罪犯代求。
馬太福音 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
哀慟的人有福了!因為他們必得安慰。
約翰福音 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever-
我要求父,父就另外賜給你們一位保惠師(或作:訓慰師;下同),叫他永遠與你們同在,
哥林多前書 15:54 - 55 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?"
這必朽壞的既變成不朽壞的,這必死的既變成不死的,那時經上所記「死被得勝吞滅」的話就應驗了。 死啊!你得勝的權勢在那裡?死啊!你的毒鉤在那裡?
腓立比書 3:13 - 14 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

以賽亞書 51:11 Those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
耶和華救贖的民必歸回,歌唱來到錫安;永樂必歸到他們的頭上。他們必得著歡喜快樂;憂愁歎息盡都逃避。
約珥書 2:25 - 26 "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten- the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm - my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed.
我打發到你們中間的大軍隊,就是蝗蟲、蝻子、螞蚱、剪蟲,那些年所吃的,我要補還你們。 你們必多吃而得飽足,就讚美為你們行奇妙事之耶和華你們神的名。我的百姓必永遠不至羞愧。
雅各書 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
忍受試探的人是有福的,因為他經過試驗以後,必得生命的冠冕,這是主應許給那些愛他之人的。

I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies. The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me.
(耶和華的僕人大衛的詩,交與伶長。當耶和華救他脫離一切仇敵和掃羅之手的日子,他向耶和華念這詩的話。說:)耶和華,我的力量啊,我愛你! 耶和華是我的巖石,我的山寨,我的救主,我的神,我的磐石,我所投靠的。他是我的盾牌,是拯救我的角,是我的高臺。 我要求告當讚美的耶和華;這樣我必從仇敵手中被救出來。 曾有死亡的繩索纏繞我,匪類的急流使我驚懼, 陰間的繩索纏繞我,死亡的網羅臨到我。
以賽亞書 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
但那等候耶和華的必從新得力。他們必如鷹展翅上騰;他們奔跑卻不困倦,行走卻不疲乏。

他必看見自己勞苦的功效,便心滿意足。有許多人因認識我的義僕得稱為義;並且他要擔當他們的罪孽。
以弗所書 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
不要叫神的聖靈擔憂;你們原是受了他的印記,等候得贖的日子來到。
提摩太後書 4:7 - 8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
那美好的仗我已經打過了,當跑的路我已經跑盡了,所信的道我已經守住了。 從此以後,有公義的冠冕為我存留,就是按著公義審判的主到了那日要賜給我的;不但賜給我,也賜給凡愛慕他顯現的人。
撒母耳記上 15:35 Until the day Samuel died, he did not go to see Saul again, though Samuel mourned for him. And the Lord regretted that he had made Saul king over Israel.
撒母耳直到死的日子,再沒有見掃羅;但撒母耳為掃羅悲傷,是因耶和華後悔立他為以色列的王。
