詩篇 37:4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
又要以耶和華為樂,他就將你心裡所求的賜給你。
傳道書 3:12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live.
我知道世人,莫強如終身喜樂行善;
箴言 3:13 - 18 Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed.
得智慧,得聰明的,這人便為有福。 因為得智慧勝過得銀子,其利益強如精金, 比珍珠(或作:紅寶石)寶貴;你一切所喜愛的,都不足與比較。 他右手有長壽,左手有富貴。 他的道是安樂;他的路全是平安。 他與持守他的作生命樹;持定他的,俱各有福。
腓立比書 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
你們要靠主常常喜樂。我再說,你們要喜樂。
以賽亞書 12:2 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense ; he has become my salvation."
看哪!神是我的拯救;我要倚靠他,並不懼怕。因為主耶和華是我的力量,是我的詩歌,他也成了我的拯救。
傳道書 3:22 So I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?

彼得前書 3:14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear their threats ; do not be frightened."

你當默然倚靠耶和華,耐性等候他;不要因那道路通達的和那惡謀成就的心懷不平。
詩篇 128:2 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.
你要吃勞碌得來的;你要享福,事情順利。
彼得前書 4:13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
倒要歡喜;因為你們是與基督一同受苦,使你們在他榮耀顯現的時候,也可以歡喜快樂。

From six calamities he will rescue you; in seven no harm will touch you. In famine he will deliver you from death, and in battle from the stroke of the sword. You will be protected from the lash of the tongue, and need not fear when destruction comes. You will laugh at destruction and famine, and need not fear the wild animals. For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you. You will know that your tent is secure; you will take stock of your property and find nothing missing. You will know that your children will be many, and your descendants like the grass of the earth. You will come to the grave in full vigor, like sheaves gathered in season. "We have examined this, and it is true. So hear it and apply it to yourself."
神所懲治的人是有福的!所以你不可輕看全能者的管教。 因為他打破,又纏裹;他擊傷,用手醫治。 你六次遭難,他必救你;就是七次,災禍也無法害你。 在饑荒中,他必救你脫離死亡;在爭戰中,他必救你脫離刀劍的權力。 你必被隱藏,不受口舌之害;災殃臨到,你也不懼怕。 你遇見災害饑饉,就必嬉笑;地上的野獸,你也不懼怕。 因為你必與田間的石頭立約;田裡的野獸也必與你和好。 你必知道你帳棚平安,要查看你的羊圈,一無所失; 也必知道你的後裔將來發達,你的子孫像地上的青草。 你必壽高年邁才歸墳墓,好像禾捆到時收藏。 這理,我們已經考察,本是如此。你須要聽,要知道是與自己有益。
傳道書 3:13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil-this is the gift of God.
並且人人吃喝,在他一切勞碌中享福,這也是神的恩賜。
馬太福音 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
清心的人有福了!因為他們必得見神。
羅馬書 5:2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
哀慟的人有福了!因為他們必得安慰。 溫柔的人有福了!因為他們必承受地土。 飢渴慕義的人有福了!因為他們必得飽足。 憐恤人的人有福了!因為他們必蒙憐恤。 清心的人有福了!因為他們必得見神。 使人和睦的人有福了!因為他們必稱為神的兒子。 為義受逼迫的人有福了!因為天國是他們的。 「人若因我辱罵你們,逼迫你們,捏造各樣壞話毀謗你們,你們就有福了! 應當歡喜快樂,因為你們在天上的賞賜是大的。在你們以前的先知,人也是這樣逼迫他們。」
哥林多後書 12:10 That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
我為基督的緣故,就以軟弱、凌辱、急難、逼迫、困苦為可喜樂的;因我什麼時候軟弱,什麼時候就剛強了。
希伯來書 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
信就是所望之事的實底,是未見之事的確據。

哥林多後書 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
原來我們不是顧念所見的,乃是顧念所不見的;因為所見的是暫時的,所不見的是永遠的。
詩篇 17:14 By your hand save me from such people, Lord, from those of this world whose reward is in this life. May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies; may their children gorge themselves on it, and may there be leftovers for their little ones.
耶和華啊,求你用手救我脫離世人,脫離那只在今生有福分的世人!你把你的財寶充滿他們的肚腹;他們因有兒女就心滿意足,將其餘的財物留給他們的嬰孩。

常存敬畏的,便為有福;心存剛硬的,必陷在禍患裡。
哥林多後書 1:15 - 18 Because I was confident of this, I wanted to visit you first so that you might benefit twice. I wanted to visit you on my way to Macedonia and to come back to you from Macedonia, and then to have you send me on my way to Judea. Was I fickle when I intended to do this? Or do I make my plans in a worldly manner so that in the same breath I say both "Yes, yes" and "No, no"? But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes" and "No."
我既然這樣深信,就早有意到你們那裡去,叫你們再得益處; 也要從你們那裡經過,往馬其頓去,再從馬其頓回到你們那裡,叫你們給我送行往猶太去。 我有此意,豈是反覆不定嗎?我所起的意,豈是從情慾起的,叫我忽是忽非嗎? 我指著信實的神說,我們向你們所傳的道,並沒有是而又非的。
雅各書 4:2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.
你們貪戀,還是得不著;你們殺害嫉妒,又鬥毆爭戰,也不能得。你們得不著,是因為你們不求。
