雅比斯比他眾弟兄更尊貴，他母親給他起名叫雅比斯，意思說：我生他甚是痛苦。

羅馬書 13:8

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
凡事都不可虧欠人，惟有彼此相愛要常以為虧欠；因為愛人的，就完全了律法。
像那不可姦淫，不可殺人，不可偷盜，不可貪婪，或有別的誡命，都包在愛人如己這一句話之內了。
愛是不加害與人的，所以愛就完全了律法。
申命記 12:18

Instead, you are to eat them in the presence of the Lord your God at the place the Lord your God will choose-you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites from your towns-and you are to rejoice before the Lord your God in everything you put your hand to.
Be careful not to neglect the Levites as long as you live in your land.
When the Lord your God has enlarged your territory as he promised you, and you crave meat and say, "I would like some meat," then you may eat as much of it as you want.
但要在耶和華你的神面前吃，在耶和華你神所要選擇的地方，你和兒女、僕婢，並住在你城裡的利未人，都可以吃；也要因你手所辦的，在耶和華你神的面前歡樂。
你要謹慎，在你所住的地方永不可丟棄利未人。
「耶和華你的神照他所應許擴張你境界的時候，你心裡想要吃肉，說：『我要吃肉』，就可以隨心所欲地吃肉。
約伯記 15:29
He will no longer be rich and his wealth will not endure, nor will his possessions spread over the land.
他不得富足，財物不得常存，產業在地上也不加增。

Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.
And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
主人回答說：『你這又惡又懶的僕人，你既知道我沒有種的地方要收割，沒有散的地方要聚斂，
就當把我的銀子放給兌換銀錢的人，到我來的時候，可以連本帶利收回。
奪過他這一千來，給那有一萬的。
因為凡有的，還要加給他，叫他有餘；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪過來。
把這無用的僕人丟在外面黑暗裡；在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。』」
哥林多後書 4:15
All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
凡事都是為你們，好叫恩惠因人多越發加增，感謝格外顯多，以致榮耀歸與神。
