箴言 13:22
A good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children, but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous.
善人給子孫遺留產業；罪人為義人積存資財。

The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,
in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession-to the praise of his glory.
我們也在他裡面得（得：或作成）了基業；這原是那位隨己意行、做萬事的，照著他旨意所預定的，
叫他的榮耀從我們這首先在基督裡有盼望的人可以得著稱讚。
你們既聽見真理的道，就是那叫你們得救的福音，也信了基督，既然信他，就受了所應許的聖靈為印記。
這聖靈是我們得基業的憑據（原文作質），直等到神之民（民：原文作產業）被贖，使他的榮耀得著稱讚。
約伯記 42:15
Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job's daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers.
在那全地的婦女中找不著像約伯的女兒那樣美貌。他們的父親使他們在弟兄中得產業。

"Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

申命記 21:15

If a man has two wives, and he loves one but not the other, and both bear him sons but the firstborn is the son of the wife he does not love,
when he wills his property to his sons, he must not give the rights of the firstborn to the son of the wife he loves in preference to his actual firstborn, the son of the wife he does not love.
He must acknowledge the son of his unloved wife as the firstborn by giving him a double share of all he has. That son is the first sign of his father's strength. The right of the firstborn belongs to him.
「人若有二妻，一為所愛，一為所惡，所愛的、所惡的都給他生了兒子，但長子是所惡之妻生的。
到了把產業分給兒子承受的時候，不可將所愛之妻生的兒子立為長子，在所惡之妻生的兒子以上，
卻要認所惡之妻生的兒子為長子，將產業多加一分給他；因這兒子是他力量強壯的時候生的，長子的名分本當歸他。」
以弗所書 1:18
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,
並且照明你們心中的眼睛，使你們知道他的恩召有何等指望，他在聖徒中得的基業有何等豐盛的榮耀；
提多書 3:7
so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
好叫我們因他的恩得稱為義，可以憑著永生的盼望成為後嗣。（或作?可以憑著盼望承受永生）。
民數記 27:6

and the Lord said to him,
"What Zelophehad's daughters are saying is right. You must certainly give them property as an inheritance among their father's relatives and give their father's inheritance to them.
"Say to the Israelites, 'If a man dies and leaves no son, give his inheritance to his daughter.
If he has no daughter, give his inheritance to his brothers.
If he has no brothers, give his inheritance to his father's brothers.
If his father had no brothers, give his inheritance to the nearest relative in his clan, that he may possess it. This is to have the force of law for the Israelites, as the Lord commanded Moses.' "
耶和華曉諭摩西說：
「西羅非哈的女兒說得有理。你定要在他們父親的弟兄中，把地分給他們為業；要將他們父親的產業歸給他們。
你也要曉諭以色列人說：『人若死了沒有兒子，就要把他的產業歸給他的女兒。
他若沒有女兒，就要把他的產業給他的弟兄。
他若沒有弟兄，就要把他的產業給他父親的弟兄。
他父親若沒有弟兄，就要把他的產業給他族中最近的親屬，他便要得為業。』這要作以色列人的律例典章，是照耶和華吩咐摩西的。」
箴言 22:7
The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.
富戶管轄窮人；欠債的是債主的僕人。
路加福音 15:25

"Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing.
So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on.
'Your brother has come,' he replied, 'and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.'
"The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him.
But he answered his father, 'Look! All these years I've been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.
But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!'
" 'My son,' the father said, 'you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.
那時，大兒子正在田裡。他回來，離家不遠，聽見作樂跳舞的聲音，
便叫過一個僕人來，問是什麼事。
僕人說：『你兄弟來了；你父親因為得他無災無病的回來，把肥牛犢宰了。』
大兒子卻生氣，不肯進去；他父親就出來勸他。
他對父親說：『我服事你這多年，從來沒有違背過你的命，你並沒有給我一隻山羊羔，叫我和朋友一同快樂。
但你這個兒子和娼妓吞盡了你的產業，他一來了，你倒為他宰了肥牛犢。』
父親對他說：『兒啊！你常和我同在，我一切所有的都是你的；
羅馬書 8:17
Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
既是兒女，便是後嗣，就是神的後嗣，和基督同作後嗣。如果我們和他一同受苦，也必和他一同得榮耀。
路得記 4:7

(Now in earlier times in Israel, for the redemption and transfer of property to become final, one party took off his sandal and gave it to the other. This was the method of legalizing transactions in Israel.)
So the guardian-redeemer said to Boaz, "Buy it yourself." And he removed his sandal.
Then Boaz announced to the elders and all the people, "Today you are witnesses that I have bought from Naomi all the property of Elimelek, Kilion and Mahlon.
I have also acquired Ruth the Moabite, Mahlon's widow, as my wife, in order to maintain the name of the dead with his property, so that his name will not disappear from among his family or from his hometown. Today you are witnesses!"
Then the elders and all the people at the gate said, "We are witnesses. May the Lord make the woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, who together built up the family of Israel. May you have standing in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem.
Through the offspring the Lord gives you by this young woman, may your family be like that of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah."
So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. When he made love to her, the Lord enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son.
The women said to Naomi: "Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel!
He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law, who loves you and who is better to you than seven sons, has given him birth."
Then Naomi took the child in her arms and cared for him.
The women living there said, "Naomi has a son!" And they named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.
從前，在以色列中要定奪什麼事，或贖回，或交易，這人就脫鞋給那人。以色列人都以此為證據。
那人對波阿斯說：「你自己買吧！」於是將鞋脫下來了。
波阿斯對長老和眾民說：「你們今日作見證，凡屬以利米勒和基連、瑪倫的，我都從拿俄米手中置買了；
又娶了瑪倫的妻摩押女子路得為妻，好在死人的產業上存留他的名，免得他的名在本族本鄉滅沒。你們今日可以作見證。」
在城門坐著的眾民和長老都說：「我們作見證。願耶和華使進你家的這女子，像建立以色列家的拉結、利亞二人一樣。又願你在以法他得亨通，在伯利恆得名聲。
願耶和華從這少年女子賜你後裔，使你的家像他瑪從猶大所生法勒斯的家一般。」
於是，波阿斯娶了路得為妻，與他同房。耶和華使他懷孕生了一個兒子。
婦人們對拿俄米說：「耶和華是應當稱頌的！因為今日沒有撇下你，使你無至近的親屬。願這孩子在以色列中得名聲。
他必提起你的精神，奉養你的老，因為是愛慕你的那兒婦所生的。有這兒婦比有七個兒子還好！」
拿俄米就把孩子抱在懷中，作他的養母。
鄰舍的婦人說：「拿俄米得孩子了！」就給孩子起名叫俄備得。這俄備得是耶西的父，耶西是大衛的父。
詩篇 16:6
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.
用繩量給我的地界，坐落在佳美之處；我的產業實在美好。
箴言 17:2
A prudent servant will rule over a disgraceful son and will share the inheritance as one of the family.
僕人辦事聰明，必管轄貽羞之子，又在眾子中同分產業。

民數記 36:6

This is what the Lord commands for Zelophehad's daughters: They may marry anyone they please as long as they marry within their father's tribal clan.
No inheritance in Israel is to pass from one tribe to another, for every Israelite shall keep the tribal inheritance of their ancestors.
Every daughter who inherits land in any Israelite tribe must marry someone in her father's tribal clan, so that every Israelite will possess the inheritance of their ancestors.
No inheritance may pass from one tribe to another, for each Israelite tribe is to keep the land it inherits."
論到西羅非哈的眾女兒，耶和華這樣吩咐說：他們可以隨意嫁人，只是要嫁同宗支派的人。
這樣，以色列人的產業就不從這支派歸到那支派，因為以色列人要各守各祖宗支派的產業。
凡在以色列支派中得了產業的女子必作同宗支派人的妻，好叫以色列人各自承受他祖宗的產業。
這樣，他們的產業就不從這支派歸到那支派，因為以色列支派的人要各守各的產業。」
加拉太書 5:19

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
情慾的事都是顯而易見的，就如姦淫、污穢、邪蕩、
拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、分爭、異端、
嫉妒（有古卷加：兇殺二字）、醉酒、荒宴等類。我從前告訴你們，現在又告訴你們，行這樣事的人必不能承受神的國。

Someone in the crowd said to him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me."
Jesus replied, "Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?"
Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions."
And he told them this parable: "The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest.
He thought to himself, 'What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.'
"Then he said, 'This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain.
And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." '
"But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?'
"This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God."
眾人中有一個人對耶穌說：「夫子！請你吩咐我的兄長和我分開家業。」
耶穌說：「你這個人！誰立我作你們斷事的官，給你們分家業呢？」
於是對眾人說：「你們要謹慎自守，免去一切的貪心，因為人的生命不在乎家道豐富。」
就用比喻對他們說：「有一個財主田產豐盛；
自己心裡思想說：『我的出產沒有地方收藏，怎麼辦呢？』
又說：『我要這麼辦：要把我的倉房拆了，另蓋更大的，在那裡好收藏我一切的糧食和財物，
然後要對我的『靈魂說：「靈魂哪，你有許多財物積存，可作多年的費用，只管安安逸逸的吃喝快樂吧！』
神卻對他說：『無知的人哪，今夜必要你的靈魂；你所預備的要歸誰呢？』
凡為自己積財，在神面前卻不富足的，也是這樣。」
希伯來書 9:17
because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.
因為人死了，遺命才有效力，若留遺命的尚在，那遺命還有用處嗎？
約書亞記 14:9
So on that day Moses swore to me, 'The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance and that of your children forever, because you have followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.'
當日摩西起誓說：『你腳所踏之地定要歸你和你的子孫永遠為業，因為你專心跟從耶和華我的神。』
詩篇 2:7

I will proclaim the Lord's decree: He said to me, "You are my son; today I have become your father.
Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.
受膏者說：我要傳聖旨。耶和華曾對我說：你是我的兒子，我今日生你。
你求我，我就將列國賜你為基業，將地極賜你為田產。
加拉太書 4:1

What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.
The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.
So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world.
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father."
So you are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.
我說那承受產業的，雖然是全業的主人，但為孩童的時候卻與奴僕毫無分別，
乃在師傅和管家的手下，直等他父親預定的時候來到。
我們為孩童的時候，受管於世俗小學之下，也是如此。
及至時候滿足，神就差遣他的兒子，為女子所生，且生在律法以下，
要把律法以下的人贖出來，叫我們得著兒子的名分。
你們既為兒子，神就差他兒子的靈進入你們（原文作我們）的心，呼叫：「阿爸！父！」
可見，從此以後，你不是奴僕，乃是兒子了；既是兒子，就靠著神為後嗣。
