腓立比書 3:19
Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
我說，你們當順著聖靈而行，就不放縱肉體的情慾了。
因為情慾和聖靈相爭，聖靈和情慾相爭，這兩個是彼此相敵，使你們不能做所願意做的。
但你們若被聖靈引導，就不在律法以下。
情慾的事都是顯而易見的，就如姦淫、污穢、邪蕩、
拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、分爭、異端、
嫉妒（有古卷加：兇殺二字）、醉酒、荒宴等類。我從前告訴你們，現在又告訴你們，行這樣事的人必不能承受神的國。
聖靈所結的果子，就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、
溫柔、節制。這樣的事沒有律法禁止。
凡屬基督耶穌的人，是已經把肉體連肉體的邪情私慾同釘在十字架上了。
我們若是靠聖靈得生，就當靠聖靈行事。
不要貪圖虛名，彼此惹氣，互相嫉妒。
路加福音 12:19

And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." '
"But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?'
然後要對我的『靈魂說：「靈魂哪，你有許多財物積存，可作多年的費用，只管安安逸逸的吃喝快樂吧！』
神卻對他說：『無知的人哪，今夜必要你的靈魂；你所預備的要歸誰呢？』
申命記 21:20

They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard."
Then all the men of his town are to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.
對長老說：『我們這兒子頑梗悖逆，不聽從我們的話，是貪食好酒的人。』

Blessed is the land whose king is of noble birth and whose princes eat at a proper time- for strength and not for drunkenness.
邦國啊，你的王若是貴冑之子，你的群臣按時吃喝，為要補力，不為酒醉，你就有福了！
阿摩司書 6:4

You lie on beds adorned with ivory and lounge on your couches. You dine on choice lambs and fattened calves.
You strum away on your harps like David and improvise on musical instruments.
You drink wine by the bowlful and use the finest lotions, but you do not grieve over the ruin of Joseph.
Therefore you will be among the first to go into exile; your feasting and lounging will end.
你們躺臥在象牙床上，舒身在榻上，吃群中的羊羔，棚裡的牛犢；
彈琴鼓瑟唱消閑的歌曲，為自己製造樂器，如同大衛所造的；
以大碗喝酒，用上等的油抹身，卻不為約瑟的苦難擔憂。
所以這些人必在被擄的人中首先被擄；舒身的人荒宴之樂必消滅了。
哥林多前書 6:19

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship.

哥林多前書 6:12
"I have the right to do anything," you say-but not everything is beneficial. "I have the right to do anything"-but I will not be mastered by anything.

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life ?
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you-you of little faith?
So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
「所以我告訴你們，不要為生命憂慮吃什麼，喝什麼；為身體憂慮穿什麼。生命不勝於飲食嗎？身體不勝於衣裳嗎？
你們看那天上的飛鳥，也不種，也不收，也不積蓄在倉裡，你們的天父尚且養活他。你們不比飛鳥貴重得多嗎？
你們那一個能用思慮使壽數多加一刻呢（或作：使身量多加一肘呢）？
何必為衣裳憂慮呢？你想野地裡的百合花怎麼長起來；他也不勞苦，也不紡線。
然而我告訴你們，就是所羅門極榮華的時候，他所穿戴的，還不如這花一朵呢！
你們這小信的人哪！野地裡的草今天還在，明天就丟在爐裡，神還給他這樣的妝飾，何況你們呢！
所以，不要憂慮說：吃什麼？喝什麼？穿什麼？
這都是外邦人所求的，你們需用的這一切東西，你們的天父是知道的。

"My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
親愛的弟兄啊，我們既有這等應許，就當潔淨自己，除去身體、靈魂一切的污穢，敬畏神，得以成聖。
哥林多後書 12:9
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.
Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples.
Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor."
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.
"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord's renown, for an everlasting sign, that will endure forever."
你們一切乾渴的都當就近水來；沒有銀錢的也可以來。你們都來，買了吃；不用銀錢，不用價值，也來買酒和奶。
你們為何花錢（原文作平銀）買那不足為食物的？用勞碌得來的買那不使人飽足的呢？你們要留意聽我的話就能吃那美物，得享肥甘，心中喜樂。
你們當就近我來；側耳而聽，就必得活。我必與你們立永約，就是應許大衛那可靠的恩典。
我已立他作萬民的見證，為萬民的君王和司令。
你素不認識的國民，你也必召來；素不認識你的國民也必向你奔跑，都因耶和華你的神以色列的聖者，因為他已經榮耀你。
當趁耶和華可尋找的時候尋找他，相近的時候求告他。
惡人當離棄自己的道路；不義的人當除掉自己的意念。歸向耶和華，耶和華就必憐恤他；當歸向我們的神，因為神必廣行赦免。
耶和華說：我的意念非同你們的意念；我的道路非同你們的道路。
天怎樣高過地，照樣，我的道路高過你們的道路；我的意念高過你們的意念。
雨雪從天而降，並不返回，卻滋潤地土，使地上發芽結實，使撒種的有種，使要吃的有糧。
我口所出的話也必如此，決不徒然返回，卻要成就我所喜悅的，在我發他去成就（發他去成就：或作所命定）的事上必然亨通。
你們必歡歡喜喜而出來，平平安安蒙引導。大山小山必在你們面前發聲歌唱；田野的樹木也都拍掌。
松樹長出，代替荊棘；番石榴長出，代替蒺藜。這要為耶和華留名，作為永遠的證據，不能剪除。
以西結書 16:49

" 'Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.
They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.
看哪，你妹妹所多瑪的罪孽是這樣：他和他的眾女都心驕氣傲，糧食飽足，大享安逸，並沒有扶助困苦和窮乏人的手。
