腓立比書 4:11 - 12 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
我並不是因缺乏說這話;我無論在什麼景況都可以知足,這是我已經學會了。 我知道怎樣處卑賤,也知道怎樣處豐富;或飽足,或飢餓;或有餘,或缺乏,隨事隨在,我都得了秘訣。
提摩太前書 6:6 - 8 But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
然而,敬虔加上知足的心便是大利了; 因為我們沒有帶什麼到世上來,也不能帶什麼去。 只要有衣有食,就當知足。
希伯來書 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
你們存心不可貪愛錢財,要以自己所有的為足;因為主曾說:『我總不撇下你,也不丟棄你。』
路加福音 12:15 Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions."
於是對眾人說:「你們要謹慎自守,免去一切的貪心,因為人的生命不在乎家道豐富。」
傳道書 3:13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil-this is the gift of God.
並且人人吃喝,在他一切勞碌中享福,這也是神的恩賜。
提摩太前書 6:6 - 11 But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
然而,敬虔加上知足的心便是大利了; 因為我們沒有帶什麼到世上來,也不能帶什麼去。 只要有衣有食,就當知足。 但那些想要發財的人,就陷在迷惑、落在網羅和許多無知有害的私慾裡,叫人沉在敗壞和滅亡中。 貪財是萬惡之根。有人貪戀錢財,就被引誘離了真道,用許多愁苦把自己刺透了。 但你這屬神的人要逃避這些事,追求公義、敬虔、信心、愛心、忍耐、溫柔。
腓立比書 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
我的神必照他榮耀的豐富,在基督耶穌裡,使你們一切所需用的都充足。
腓立比書 4:11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.

箴言 16:8 Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice.
多有財利,行事不義,不如少有財利,行事公義。

哥林多前書 7:17 Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.

哥林多前書 7:24 Brothers and sisters, each person, as responsible to God, should remain in the situation they were in when God called them.
弟兄們,你們各人蒙召的時候是什麼身分,仍要在神面前守住這身分。
提摩太前書 6:17 - 19 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
你要囑咐那些今世富足的人,不要自高,也不要倚靠無定的錢財;只要倚靠那厚賜百物給我們享受的神。 又要囑咐他們行善,在好事上富足,甘心施捨,樂意供給(或作:體貼)人, 為自己積成美好的根基,預備將來,叫他們持定那真正的生命。
詩篇 37:3 - 5 Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this:
你當倚靠耶和華而行善,住在地上,以他的信實為糧; 又要以耶和華為樂,他就將你心裡所求的賜給你。 當將你的事交託耶和華,並倚靠他,他就必成全。
傳道書 3:12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live.
我知道世人,莫強如終身喜樂行善;
以賽亞書 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
堅心倚賴你的,你必保守他十分平安,因為他倚靠你。
詩篇 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
你必將生命的道路指示我。在你面前有滿足的喜樂;在你右手中有永遠的福樂。
箴言 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
你要專心仰賴耶和華,不可倚靠自己的聰明,
箴言 28:25 The greedy stir up conflict, but those who trust in the Lord will prosper.
心中貪婪的,挑起爭端;倚靠耶和華的,必得豐裕。
箴言 30:8 - 9 Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the Lord?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.
求你使虛假和謊言遠離我;使我也不貧窮也不富足;賜給我需用的飲食, 恐怕我飽足不認你,說:耶和華是誰呢?又恐怕我貧窮就偷竊,以致褻瀆我神的名。
馬太福音 6:19 - 24 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, ote style="f" caller="+"> 6:22 The Greek for healthy here implies generous . your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
「不要為自己積儹財寶在地上;地上有蟲子咬,能(金秀)壞,也有賊挖窟窿來偷。 只要積儹財寶在天上;天上沒有蟲子咬,不能(金秀)壞,也沒有賊挖窟窿來偷。 因為你的財寶在那裡,你的心也在那裡。」 「眼睛就是身上的燈。你的眼睛若瞭亮,全身就光明; 你的眼睛若昏花,全身就黑暗。你裡頭的光若黑暗了,那黑暗是何等大呢!」 「一個人不能事奉兩個主;不是惡這個,愛那個,就是重這個,輕那個。你們不能又事奉神,又事奉瑪門(瑪門:財利的意思)。」
雅各書 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
你們親近神,神就必親近你們。有罪的人哪,要潔淨你們的手!心懷二意的人哪,要清潔你們的心!
詩篇 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
(大衛的詩。)耶和華是我的牧者,我必不至缺乏。
詩篇 37:16 Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked;
一個義人所有的雖少,強過許多惡人的富餘。
詩篇 118:24 The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.
這是耶和華所定的日子,我們在其中要高興歡喜!
傳道書 8:15 So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun.
我就稱讚快樂,原來人在日光之下,莫強如吃喝快樂;因為他在日光之下,神賜他一生的年日,要從勞碌中,時常享受所得的。
雅各書 4:2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.
你們貪戀,還是得不著;你們殺害嫉妒,又鬥毆爭戰,也不能得。你們得不著,是因為你們不求。
箴言 14:14 The faithless will be fully repaid for their ways, and the good rewarded for theirs.
心中背道的,必滿得自己的結果;善人必從自己的行為得以知足。
箴言 15:30 Light in a messenger's eyes brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones.
眼有光,使心喜樂;好信息,使骨滋潤。
傳道書 6:7 - 9 Everyone's toil is for their mouth, yet their appetite is never satisfied. What advantage have the wise over fools? What do the poor gain by knowing how to conduct themselves before others? Better what the eye sees than the roving of the appetite. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
人的勞碌都為口腹,心裡卻不知足。 這樣看來,智慧人比愚昧人有什麼長處呢?窮人在眾人面前知道如何行,有什麼長處呢? 眼睛所看的比心裡妄想的倒好。這也是虛空,也是捕風。
路加福音 3:14 Then some soldiers asked him, "And what should we do?" He replied, "Don't extort money and don't accuse people falsely-be content with your pay."
又有兵丁問他說:「我們當做什麼呢?」約翰說:「不要以強暴待人,也不要訛詐人,自己有錢糧就當知足。」
詩篇 37:7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
你當默然倚靠耶和華,耐性等候他;不要因那道路通達的和那惡謀成就的心懷不平。
箴言 28:6 Better the poor whose walk is blameless than the rich whose ways are perverse.
行為純正的窮乏人勝過行事乖僻的富足人。
馬太福音 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
「所以我告訴你們,不要為生命憂慮吃什麼,喝什麼;為身體憂慮穿什麼。生命不勝於飲食嗎?身體不勝於衣裳嗎?
馬太福音 6:28 - 34 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you-you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
何必為衣裳憂慮呢?你想野地裡的百合花怎麼長起來;他也不勞苦,也不紡線。 然而我告訴你們,就是所羅門極榮華的時候,他所穿戴的,還不如這花一朵呢! 你們這小信的人哪!野地裡的草今天還在,明天就丟在爐裡,神還給他這樣的妝飾,何況你們呢! 所以,不要憂慮說:吃什麼?喝什麼?穿什麼? 這都是外邦人所求的,你們需用的這一切東西,你們的天父是知道的。 你們要先求他的國和他的義,這些東西都要加給你們了。 所以,不要為明天憂慮,因為明天自有明天的憂慮;一天的難處一天當就夠了。」
羅馬書 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,
因為神的國不在乎吃喝,只在乎公義、和平,並聖靈中的喜樂。

傳道書 9:7 - 9 Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do. Always be clothed in white, and always anoint your head with oil. Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this meaningless life that God has given you under the sun-all your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun.
你只管去歡歡喜喜吃你的飯,心中快樂喝你的酒,因為神已經悅納你的作為。 你的衣服當時常潔白,你頭上也不要缺少膏油。 在你一生虛空的年日,就是神賜你在日光之下虛空的年日,當同你所愛的妻,快活度日,因為那是你生前在日光之下勞碌的事上所得的分。
哈巴谷書 3:16 - 18 I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us. Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
我聽見耶和華的聲音,身體戰兢,嘴唇發顫,骨中朽爛;我在所立之處戰兢。我只可安靜等候災難之日臨到,犯境之民上來。 雖然無花果樹不發旺,葡萄樹不結果,橄欖樹也不效力,田地不出糧食,圈中絕了羊,棚內也沒有牛; 然而,我要因耶和華歡欣,因救我的神喜樂。
馬太福音 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
飢渴慕義的人有福了!因為他們必得飽足。
馬可福音 10:23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!"
耶穌周圍一看,對門徒說:「有錢財的人進神的國是何等的難哪!」
腓立比書 3:7 - 8 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ
只是我先前以為與我有益的,我現在因基督都當作有損的。 不但如此,我也將萬事當作有損的,因我以認識我主基督耶穌為至寶。我為他已經丟棄萬事,看作糞土,為要得著基督;
雅各書 2:5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?
我親愛的弟兄們,請聽,神豈不是揀選了世上的貧窮人,叫他們在信上富足,並承受他所應許給那些愛他之人的國嗎?
