He has driven me away and made me walk in darkness rather than light;

Then the Lord said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness spreads over Egypt-darkness that can be felt."
So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for three days.
耶和華對摩西說：「你向天伸杖，使埃及地黑暗；這黑暗似乎摸得著。」
摩西向天伸杖，埃及遍地就烏黑了三天。
詩篇 18:11
He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him- the dark rain clouds of the sky.
他以黑暗為藏身之處，以水的黑暗、天空的厚雲為他四圍的行宮。

Woe to you who long for the day of the Lord! Why do you long for the day of the Lord? That day will be darkness, not light.

出埃及記 20:21

詩篇 97:2
Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
密雲和幽暗在他的四圍；公義和公平是他寶座的根基。
箴言 20:20
If someone curses their father or mother, their lamp will be snuffed out in pitch darkness.
咒罵父母的，他的燈必滅，變為漆黑的黑暗。
以賽亞書 8:22
Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.

約翰一書 2:9
Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness.
人若說自己在光明中，卻恨他的弟兄，他到如今還是在黑暗裡。
啟示錄 8:12
The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.
第四位天使吹號，日頭的三分之一，月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一都被擊打，以致日月星的三分之一黑暗了，白晝的三分之一沒有光，黑夜也是這樣。
創世記 1:5

God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day.
And God said, "Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water."
So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so.
神稱光為「晝」，稱暗為「夜」。有晚上，有早晨，這是頭一日。
神說：「諸水之間要有空氣，將水分為上下。」
神就造出空氣，將空氣以下的水、空氣以上的水分開了。事就這樣成了。

When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss.

馬太福音 6:22

"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, ote style="f" caller="+"> 6:22 The Greek for healthy here implies generous . your whole body will be full of light.
But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
「眼睛就是身上的燈。你的眼睛若瞭亮，全身就光明；
你的眼睛若昏花，全身就黑暗。你裡頭的光若黑暗了，那黑暗是何等大呢！」
