箴言 17:13
Evil will never leave the house of one who pays back evil for good.

申命記 28:15

However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you:
You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.
Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed.
The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.
「你若不聽從耶和華你神的話，不謹守遵行他的一切誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，這以下的咒詛都必追隨你，臨到你身上：
你在城裡必受咒詛，在田間也必受咒詛。
你的筐子和你的摶麵盆都必受咒詛。
你身所生的，地所產的，以及牛犢、羊羔，都必受咒詛。
你出也受咒詛，入也受咒詛。
耶利米書 18:10
and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it.

彌迦書 2:1
Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning's light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it.
禍哉，那些在床上圖謀罪孽、造作奸惡的！天一發亮，因手有能力就行出來了。
以賽亞書 48:22
"There is no peace," says the Lord, "for the wicked."
耶和華說：惡人必不得平安！
撒母耳記上 2:30
"Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares: 'I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.' But now the Lord declares: 'Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.
因此，耶和華以色列的神說：『我曾說，你和你父家必永遠行在我面前；現在我卻說，決不容你們這樣行。因為尊重我的，我必重看他；藐視我的，他必被輕視。
哈巴谷書 2:9
"Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain, setting his nest on high to escape the clutches of ruin!
為本家積蓄不義之財、在高處搭窩、指望免災的有禍了！
利未記 24:15
Say to the Israelites: 'Anyone who curses their God will be held responsible;
你要曉諭以色列人說：凡咒詛神的，必擔當他的罪。
申命記 28:20
The Lord will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him.
耶和華因你行惡離棄他，必在你手裡所辦的一切事上，使咒詛、擾亂、責罰臨到你，直到你被毀滅，速速地滅亡。
以賽亞書 1:28
But rebels and sinners will both be broken, and those who forsake the Lord will perish.
但悖逆的和犯罪的必一同敗亡；離棄耶和華的必致消滅。
以賽亞書 57:20

But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud.
"There is no peace," says my God, "for the wicked."
惟獨惡人，好像翻騰的海，不得平靜；其中的水常湧出污穢和淤泥來。
我的神說：惡人必不得平安！
創世記 9:6
"Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.
凡流人血的，他的血也必被人所流，因為神造人是照自己的形像造的。

You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
耶和華所恨惡的有六樣，連他心所憎惡的共有七樣：
就是高傲的眼，撒謊的舌，流無辜人血的手，
圖謀惡計的心，飛跑行惡的腳，
吐謊言的假見證，並弟兄中布散分爭的人。
民數記 15:31
Because they have despised the Lord's word and broken his commands, they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.' "
因他藐視耶和華的言語，違背耶和華的命令，那人總要剪除；他的罪孽要歸到他身上。」
申命記 30:17

But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them,
I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.
倘若你心裡偏離，不肯聽從，卻被勾引去敬拜事奉別神，
我今日明明告訴你們，你們必要滅亡；在你過約但河、進去得為業的地上，你的日子必不長久。
詩篇 5:4

For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness; with you, evil people are not welcome.
The arrogant cannot stand in your presence. You hate all who do wrong;
you destroy those who tell lies. The bloodthirsty and deceitful you, Lord, detest.
因為你不是喜悅惡事的神，惡人不能與你同居。
狂傲人不能站在你眼前；凡作孽的，都是你所恨惡的。
說謊言的，你必滅絕；好流人血弄詭詐的，都為耶和華所憎惡。
利未記 26:14

" 'But if you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands,
and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant,
then I will do this to you: I will bring on you sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever that will destroy your sight and sap your strength. You will plant seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it.
I will set my face against you so that you will be defeated by your enemies; those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee even when no one is pursuing you.
「你們若不聽從我，不遵行我的誡命，
厭棄我的律例，厭惡我的典章，不遵行我一切的誡命，背棄我的約，
我待你們就要這樣：我必命定驚惶，叫眼目乾癟、精神消耗的癆病熱病轄制你們。你們也要白白地撒種，因為仇敵要吃你們所種的。
我要向你們變臉，你們就要敗在仇敵面前。恨惡你們的，必轄管你們；無人追趕，你們卻要逃跑。
申命記 11:28
the curse if you disobey the commands of the Lord your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.
你們若不聽從耶和華你們神的誡命，偏離我今日所吩咐你們的道，去事奉你們素來所不認識的別神，就必受禍。
申命記 28:47

Because you did not serve the Lord your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity,
therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the Lord sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.
「因為你富有的時候，不歡心樂意地事奉耶和華你的神，
所以你必在飢餓、乾渴、赤露、缺乏之中事奉耶和華所打發來攻擊你的仇敵。他必把鐵軛加在你的頸項上，直到將你滅絕。
詩篇 34:16
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.
耶和華向行惡的人變臉，要從世上除滅他們的名號。
詩篇 50:21

When you did these things and I kept silent, you thought I was exactly like you. But I now arraign you and set my accusations before you.
"Consider this, you who forget God, or I will tear you to pieces, with no one to rescue you:
你行了這些事，我還閉口不言，你想我恰和你一樣；其實我要責備你，將這些事擺在你眼前。
你們忘記神的，要思想這事，免得我把你們撕碎，無人搭救。
箴言 8:13
To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.
敬畏耶和華在乎恨惡邪惡；那驕傲、狂妄，並惡道，以及乖謬的口，都為我所恨惡。
箴言 12:2
Good people obtain favor from the Lord, but he condemns those who devise wicked schemes.
善人必蒙耶和華的恩惠；設詭計的人，耶和華必定他的罪。
箴言 17:5
Whoever mocks the poor shows contempt for their Maker; whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished.
戲笑窮人的，是辱沒造他的主；幸災樂禍的，必不免受罰。
以賽亞書 1:19

If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land;
but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword." For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
你們若甘心聽從，必吃地上的美物，
若不聽從，反倒悖逆，必被刀劍吞滅。這是耶和華親口說的。
以賽亞書 5:22
- 24
Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks,
who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice to the innocent.
Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel.
禍哉！那些勇於飲酒，以能力調濃酒的人。
他們因受賄賂，就稱惡人為義，將義人的義奪去。
火苗怎樣吞滅碎稓，乾草怎樣落在火焰之中，照樣，他們的根必像朽物，他們的花必像灰塵飛騰；因為他們厭棄萬軍之耶和華的訓誨，藐視以色列聖者的言語。
耶利米書 17:5
- 6
This is what the Lord says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.
That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.
耶和華如此說：倚靠人血肉的膀臂，心中離棄耶和華的，那人有禍了！
因他必像沙漠的杜松，不見福樂來到，卻要住曠野乾旱之處，無人居住的鹼地。
