箴言 10:17 Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
謹守訓誨的,乃在生命的道上;違棄責備的,便失迷了路。
箴言 25:12 Like an earring of gold or an ornament of fine gold is the rebuke of a wise judge to a listening ear.
智慧人的勸戒,在順從的人耳中,好像金耳環和精金的妝飾。
箴言 29:15 A rod and a reprimand impart wisdom, but a child left undisciplined disgraces its mother.
杖打和責備能加增智慧;放縱的兒子使母親羞愧。
箴言 1:2 - 4 for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight; for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to those who are simple, knowledge and discretion to the young-
要使人曉得智慧和訓誨,分辨通達的言語, 使人處事領受智慧、仁義、公平、正直的訓誨, 使愚人靈明,使少年人有知識和謀略,
箴言 13:24 Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.
不忍用杖打兒子的,是恨惡他;疼愛兒子的,隨時管教。
路加福音 17:3 So watch yourselves. "If your brother or sister ote style="f" caller="+"> 17:3 The Greek word for brother or sister ( adelphos ) refers here to a fellow disciple, whether man or woman. sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them.
你們要謹慎!若是你的弟兄得罪你,就勸戒他;他若懊悔,就饒恕他。
提多書 2:15 These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you.
這些事你要講明,勸戒人,用各等權柄責備人,不可叫人輕看你。
箴言 13:18 Whoever disregards discipline comes to poverty and shame, but whoever heeds correction is honored.
棄絕管教的,必致貧受辱;領受責備的,必得尊榮。

愚蒙迷住孩童的心,用管教的杖可以遠遠趕除。

當面的責備強如背地的愛情。
帖撒羅尼迦後書 3:15 Yet do not regard them as an enemy, but warn them as you would a fellow believer.
但不要以他為仇人,要勸他如弟兄。
