彼得前書 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。
彼得後書 1:3

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
神的神能已將一切關乎生命和虔敬的事賜給我們，皆因我們認識那用自己榮耀和美德召我們的主。
因此，他已將又寶貴又極大的應許賜給我們，叫我們既脫離世上從情慾來的敗壞，就得與神的性情有分。
歌羅西書 1:12

and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,
又感謝父，叫我們能與眾聖徒在光明中同得基業。
他救了我們脫離黑暗的權勢，把我們遷到他愛子的國裡；

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父神！他在基督裡曾賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣：

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love
he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-
to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace
that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,
he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ,
to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment-to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,
就如神從創立世界以前，在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵；
又因愛我們，就按著自己意旨所喜悅的，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得兒子的名分，
使他榮耀的恩典得著稱讚；這恩典是他在愛子裡所賜給我們的。
我們藉這愛子的血得蒙救贖，過犯得以赦免，乃是照他豐富的恩典。
這恩典是神用諸般智慧聰明，充充足足賞給我們的；
都是照他自己所預定的美意，叫我們知道他旨意的奧秘，
要照所安排的，在日期滿足的時候，使天上、地上、一切所有的都在基督裡面同歸於一。
我們也在他裡面得（得：或作成）了基業；這原是那位隨己意行、做萬事的，照著他旨意所預定的，
