約翰福音 12:26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
若有人服事我,就當跟從我;我在那裡,服事我的人也要在那裡;若有人服事我,我父必尊重他。」
馬可福音 10:42 - 45 Jesus called them together and said, "You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
耶穌叫他們來,對他們說:「你們知道,外邦人有尊為君王的,治理他們,有大臣操權管束他們。 只是在你們中間,不是這樣。你們中間,誰願為大,就必作你們的用人; 在你們中間,誰願為首,就必做眾人的僕人。 因為人子來,並不是要受人的服事,乃是要服事人,並且要捨命作多人的贖價。」
加拉太書 5:13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
弟兄們,你們蒙召是要得自由,只是不可將你們的自由當作放縱情慾的機會,總要用愛心互相服事。
歌羅西書 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

馬可福音 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

哥林多前書 4:1 - 2 This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.
人應當以我們為基督的執事,為神奧秘事的管家。 所求於管家的,是要他有忠心。

你當竭力在神面前得蒙喜悅,作無愧的工人,按著正意分解真理的道。

詩篇 149:4 For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.
因為耶和華喜愛他的百姓;他要用救恩當作謙卑人的妝飾。
哥林多前書 10:32 Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God-
不拘是猶太人,是希利尼人,是神的教會,你們都不要使他跌倒;
雅各書 3:17 - 18 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
惟獨從上頭來的智慧,先是清潔,後是和平,溫良柔順,滿有憐憫,多結善果,沒有偏見,沒有假冒。 並且使人和平的,是用和平所栽種的義果。
詩篇 147:6 The Lord sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground.
耶和華扶持謙卑人,將惡人傾覆於地。
箴言 25:15 Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone.
恆常忍耐可以勸動君王;柔和的舌頭能折斷骨頭。
馬太福音 26:47 - 54 While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people. Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: "The one I kiss is the man; arrest him." Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed him. Jesus replied, "Do what you came for, friend." Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him. With that, one of Jesus' companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear. "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"

馬可福音 9:50 "Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other."
鹽本是好的,若失了味,可用什麼叫他再鹹呢?你們裡頭應當有鹽,彼此和睦。」
路加福音 14:23 "Then the master told his servant, 'Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.
主人對僕人說,『你出去到路上和籬笆那裡,勉強人進來,坐滿我的屋子。
路加福音 22:27 For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.
是誰為大?是坐席的呢?是服事人的呢?不是坐席的大嗎?然而,我在你們中間如同服事人的。
羅馬書 12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
逼迫你們的,要給他們祝福;只要祝福,不可咒詛。
哥林多前書 7:15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.
倘若那不信的人要離去,就由他離去吧!無論是弟兄,是姐妹,遇著這樣的事都不必拘束。神召我們原是要我們和睦。
腓立比書 2:7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

提摩太前書 3:2 - 3 Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.
作監督的,必須無可指責,只作一個婦人的丈夫,有節制,自守,端正,樂意接待遠人,善於教導; 不因酒滋事,不打人,只要溫和,不爭競,不貪財;
彼得前書 3:4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.
只要以裡面存著長久溫柔,安靜的心為妝飾;這在神面前是極寶貴的。
撒母耳記上 1:13 - 16 Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk and said to her, "How long are you going to stay drunk? Put away your wine." "Not so, my lord," Hannah replied, "I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the Lord. Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief."

詩篇 37:11 But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.
但謙卑人必承受地土,以豐盛的平安為樂。
箴言 16:32 Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city.
不輕易發怒的,勝過勇士;治服己心的,強如取城。
馬太福音 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
使人和睦的人有福了!因為他們必稱為神的兒子。
路加福音 12:41 - 48 Peter asked, "Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?" The Lord answered, "Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose the servant says to himself, 'My master is taking a long time in coming,' and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers. "The servant who knows the master's will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
彼得說:「主啊,這比喻是為我們說的呢?還是為眾人呢?」 主說:「誰是那忠心有見識的管家,主人派他管理家裡的人,按時分糧給他們呢? 主人來到,看見僕人這樣行,那僕人就有福了。 我實在告訴你們,主人要派他管理一切所有的。 那僕人若心裡說:『我的主人必來得遲』,就動手打僕人和使女,並且吃喝醉酒; 在他想不到的日子,不知道的時辰,那僕人的主人要來,重重的處治他(或作:把他腰軋了),定他和不忠心的人同罪。 僕人知道主人的意思,卻不預備,又不順他的意思行,那僕人必多受責打; 惟有那不知道的,做了當受責打的事,必少受責打;因為多給誰,就向誰多取;多托誰,就向誰多要。」
提多書 3:2 to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.
不要毀謗,不要爭競,總要和平,向眾人大顯溫柔。
雅各書 1:21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
所以你們要脫去一切的污穢和盈餘的邪惡,存溫柔的心領受那所栽種的道,就是能救你們靈魂的道。

撒母耳記下 16:9 - 14 Then Abishai son of Zeruiah said to the king, "Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Let me go over and cut off his head." But the king said, "What does this have to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? If he is cursing because the Lord said to him, 'Curse David,' who can ask, 'Why do you do this?' " David then said to Abishai and all his officials, "My son, my own flesh and blood, is trying to kill me. How much more, then, this Benjamite! Leave him alone; let him curse, for the Lord has told him to. It may be that the Lord will look upon my misery and restore to me his covenant blessing instead of his curse today." So David and his men continued along the road while Shimei was going along the hillside opposite him, cursing as he went and throwing stones at him and showering him with dirt. The king and all the people with him arrived at their destination exhausted. And there he refreshed himself.
洗魯雅的兒子亞比篩對王說:「這死狗豈可咒罵我主我王呢?求你容我過去,割下他的頭來。」 王說:「洗魯雅的兒子,我與你們有何關涉呢?他咒罵是因耶和華吩咐他說:『你要咒罵大衛。』如此,誰敢說你為什麼這樣行呢?」 大衛又對亞比篩和眾臣僕說:「我親生的兒子尚且尋索我的性命,何況這便雅憫人呢?由他咒罵吧!因為這是耶和華吩咐他的。 或者耶和華見我遭難,為我今日被這人咒罵,就施恩與我。」 於是大衛和跟隨他的人往前行走。示每在大衛對面山坡,一面行走一面咒罵,又拿石頭砍他,拿土揚他。 王和跟隨他的眾人疲疲乏乏地到了一個地方,就在那裡歇息歇息。
詩篇 38:13 - 14 I am like the deaf, who cannot hear, like the mute, who cannot speak; I have become like one who does not hear, whose mouth can offer no reply.
但我如聾子不聽,像啞巴不開口。 我如不聽見的人,口中沒有回話。
箴言 11:25 A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
好施捨的,必得豐裕;滋潤人的,必得滋潤。
箴言 15:1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
回答柔和,使怒消退;言語暴戾,觸動怒氣。
箴言 19:11 A person's wisdom yields patience; it is to one's glory to overlook an offense.
人有見識就不輕易發怒;寬恕人的過失便是自己的榮耀。
阿摩司書 3:3 Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?
二人若不同心,豈能同行呢?
馬太福音 20:26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
只是在你們中間,不可這樣;你們中間誰願為大,就必作你們的用人;
使徒行傳 21:20 - 26 When they heard this, they praised God. Then they said to Paul: "You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews have believed, and all of them are zealous for the law. They have been informed that you teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn away from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or live according to our customs. What shall we do? They will certainly hear that you have come, so do what we tell you. There are four men with us who have made a vow. Take these men, join in their purification rites and pay their expenses, so that they can have their heads shaved. Then everyone will know there is no truth in these reports about you, but that you yourself are living in obedience to the law. As for the Gentile believers, we have written to them our decision that they should abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality." The next day Paul took the men and purified himself along with them. Then he went to the temple to give notice of the date when the days of purification would end and the offering would be made for each of them.
他們聽見,就歸榮耀與神,對保羅說:「兄台,你看猶太人中信主的有多少萬,並且都為律法熱心。 他們聽見人說:你教訓一切在外邦的猶太人離棄摩西,對他們說:不要給孩子行割禮,也不要遵行條規。 眾人必聽見你來了,這可怎麼辦呢? 你就照著我們的話行吧?我們這裡有四個人,都有願在身。 你帶他們去,與他們一同行潔淨的禮,替他們拿出規費,叫他們得以剃頭。這樣,眾人就可知道,先前所聽見你的事都是虛的;並可知道,你自己為人,循規蹈矩,遵行律法。 至於信主的外邦人,我們已經寫信擬定,叫他們謹忌那祭偶像之物,和血,並勒死的牲畜,與姦淫。」 於是保羅帶著那四個人,第二天與他們一同行了潔淨的禮,進了殿,報明潔淨的日期滿足,只等祭司為他們各人獻祭。
羅馬書 13:4 For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
因為他是神的用人,是與你有益的。你若作惡,卻當懼怕;因為他不是空空的佩劍,他是神的用人,是伸冤的,刑罰那作惡的。
羅馬書 14:19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
所以,我們務要追求和睦的事與彼此建立德行的事。
