約翰一書 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
親愛的弟兄啊,一切的靈,你們不可都信,總要試驗那些靈是出於神的不是,因為世上有許多假先知已經出來了。
腓立比書 1:9 - 10 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,
我所禱告的,就是要你們的愛心在知識和各樣見識上多而又多, 使你們能分別是非(或作:喜愛那美好的事),作誠實無過的人,直到基督的日子;
希伯來書 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

我兒,你若領受我的言語,存記我的命令, 側耳聽智慧,專心求聰明, 呼求明哲,揚聲求聰明, 尋找他,如尋找銀子,搜求他,如搜求隱藏的珍寶, 你就明白敬畏耶和華,得以認識神。
提摩太前書 6:3 - 5 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, they are conceited and understand nothing. They have an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.
若有人傳異教,不服從我們主耶穌基督純正的話與那合乎敬虔的道理, 他是自高自大,一無所知,專好問難,爭辯言詞,從此就生出嫉妒、分爭、毀謗、妄疑, 並那壞了心術、失喪真理之人的爭競。他們以敬虔為得利的門路。
哥林多前書 11:29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.
因為人吃喝,若不分辨是主的身體,就是吃喝自己的罪了。
哥林多後書 11:13 - 15 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
那等人是假使徒,行事詭詐,裝作基督使徒的模樣。 這也不足為怪,因為連撒但也裝作光明的天使。 所以他的差役,若裝作仁義的差役,也不算希奇。他們的結局必然照著他們的行為。

哥林多前書 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
然而,屬血氣的人不領會神聖靈的事,反倒以為愚拙,並且不能知道,因為這些事惟有屬靈的人才能看透。

聰明人的心得知識;智慧人的耳求知識。
馬太福音 7:18 - 20 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
好樹不能結壞果子;壞樹不能結好果子。 凡不結好果子的樹就砍下來,丟在火裡。 所以,憑著他們的果子就可以認出他們來。」
使徒行傳 16:6 - 7 Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to.

申命記 32:27 - 29 but I dreaded the taunt of the enemy, lest the adversary misunderstand and say, 'Our hand has triumphed; the Lord has not done all this.' " They are a nation without sense, there is no discernment in them. If only they were wise and would understand this and discern what their end will be!
惟恐仇敵惹動我,只怕敵人錯看,說:是我們手的能力,並非耶和華所行的。 因為以色列民毫無計謀,心中沒有聰明。 惟願他們有智慧,能明白這事,肯思念他們的結局。
申命記 32:24 - 29 I will send wasting famine against them, consuming pestilence and deadly plague; I will send against them the fangs of wild beasts, the venom of vipers that glide in the dust. In the street the sword will make them childless; in their homes terror will reign. The young men and young women will perish, the infants and those with gray hair. I said I would scatter them and erase their name from human memory, but I dreaded the taunt of the enemy, lest the adversary misunderstand and say, 'Our hand has triumphed; the Lord has not done all this.' " They are a nation without sense, there is no discernment in them. If only they were wise and would understand this and discern what their end will be!
他們必因飢餓消瘦,被炎熱苦毒吞滅。我要打發野獸用牙齒咬他們,並土中腹行的,用毒氣害他們。 外頭有刀劍,內室有驚恐,使人喪亡,使少男、童女、吃奶的、白髮的,盡都滅絕。 我說,我必將他們分散遠方,使他們的名號從人間除滅。 惟恐仇敵惹動我,只怕敵人錯看,說:是我們手的能力,並非耶和華所行的。 因為以色列民毫無計謀,心中沒有聰明。 惟願他們有智慧,能明白這事,肯思念他們的結局。
詩篇 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
耶和華靠近傷心的人,拯救靈性痛悔的人。
箴言 28:11 The rich are wise in their own eyes; one who is poor and discerning sees how deluded they are.
富足人自以為有智慧,但聰明的貧窮人能將他查透。
路加福音 12:56 Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don't know how to interpret this present time?
假冒為善的人哪,你們知道分辨天地的氣色,怎麼不知道分辨這時候呢?」
哥林多前書 11:31 But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.
我們若是先分辨自己,就不至於受審。
雅各書 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
你們中間若有缺少智慧的,應當求那厚賜與眾人、也不斥責人的神,主就必賜給他。

創世記 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
耶和華神所造的,惟有蛇比田野一切的活物更狡猾。蛇對女人說:「神豈是真說不許你們吃園中所有樹上的果子嗎?」
詩篇 23:1 - 6 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

詩篇 119:18 - 24 Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law. I am a stranger on earth; do not hide your commands from me. My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times. You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed, those who stray from your commands. Remove from me their scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes. Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees. Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.
求你開我的眼睛,使我看出你律法中的奇妙。 我是在地上作寄居的;求你不要向我隱瞞你的命令! 我時常切慕你的典章,甚至心碎。 受咒詛、偏離你命令的驕傲人,你已經責備他們。 求你除掉我所受的羞辱和藐視,因我遵守你的法度。 雖有首領坐著妄論我,你僕人卻思想你的律例。 你的法度是我所喜樂的,是我的謀士。
約翰福音 5:30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
「我憑著自己不能做什麼,我怎麼聽見就怎麼審判。我的審判也是公平的;因為我不求自己的意思,只求那差我來者的意思。」
哥林多後書 11:4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.
假如有人來另傳一個耶穌,不是我們所傳過的;或者你們另受一個靈,不是你們所受過的;或者另得一個福音,不是你們所得過的;你們容讓他也就罷了。
申命記 7:12 - 16 If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the Lord your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your ancestors. He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land-your grain, new wine and olive oil-the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. You will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor will any of your livestock be without young. The Lord will keep you free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt, but he will inflict them on all who hate you. You must destroy all the peoples the Lord your God gives over to you. Do not look on them with pity and do not serve their gods, for that will be a snare to you.
「你們果然聽從這些典章,謹守遵行,耶和華你神就必照他向你列祖所起的誓守約,施慈愛。 他必愛你,賜福與你,使你人數增多,也必在他向你列祖起誓應許給你的地上賜福與你身所生的,地所產的,並你的五穀、新酒,和油,以及牛犢、羊羔。 你必蒙福勝過萬民;你們的男女沒有不能生養的,牲畜也沒有不能生育的。 耶和華必使一切的病症離開你;你所知道埃及各樣的惡疾,他不加在你身上,只加在一切恨你的人身上。 耶和華你神所要交給你的一切人民,你要將他們除滅;你眼不可顧惜他們。你也不可事奉他們的神,因這必成為你的網羅。
以斯拉記 3:13 No one could distinguish the sound of the shouts of joy from the sound of weeping, because the people made so much noise. And the sound was heard far away.
甚至百姓不能分辨歡呼的聲音和哭號的聲音;因為眾人大聲呼喊,聲音聽到遠處。
以西結書 44:23 They are to teach my people the difference between the holy and the common and show them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.
